1017-1(a)(1):  Conversion: CHAPTER 12 to 7, Uncontested

FRBP 1019 provides instructions on the documents that must be filed after a chapter 12 case is converted or reconverted to a chapter 7 case.

LBR 1017-1(a)(1) provides a procedure to follow when a chapter 12 debtor wishes to convert their case to a chapter 7 case.

  • A fee is required.  See link below
  • A motion is not required.
  • A hearing is not required, pursuant to LBR 9013-1(q).
  • The debtor must file a Notice of Conversion.  The court has a form notice.  See link below.
