8000-1:  Appeals: FEES

FRBP 8001-8028 and LBR 8000-1 govern appeals.

The amount of fees assessed to file an appeal are governed by 28 U.S.C. 1930.

  • In some situations in chapter 7 appeals, a debtor may apply to have the filing fee waived.
  • Please consult the fee chart below to determine the fee for filing a notice of appeal.
